  1. 2.5 stars

While I enjoyed Ms. Castle’s Dark Dynasty Series, this novelette was just MEH read. Big part of it was MY FAULT — I forgot that Nocturne was one of the sensual (read: erotic) stories of Harlequin. More sex less romance. I got bored quickly and started skimming.

But on another hand, what I noticed from her Dark Dynasty book, Ms. Castle didn’t write action part very well. Again, I thought the action part here ((view spoiler)[where Kaden saved Tess (hide spoiler)]

  2. 2 stars… Great idea but poorly executed.

Let me just begin by saying that I have NEVER read or heard of a dragon book that is good. Which sucks because I think the concept of were-dragons is awesome. Taming The Dragon started out great. You’ve got the arrogant dragon and the sassy and headstrong human. In their first encounter, sparks fly. I loved how smoke came out of Kaden (the dragon) at times along with the lengthening of his incisors. I thought it was a very simple yet easy to enjoy book

  3. This was an excellent story. I was thoroughly engulfed by the story. For a short story it was very fleshed out. I am going to have to look for more of this author’s books.

  5. 4.5 Stars. Public Library 9/20/14. Nice short adult story about dragons, magic, and witches. Tess wanders into a small mysterious shop where she is offered a job deliver a necklace. A simple delivery turns into a sudden but complicated love when she meets Kaden.
