  1. Branding is important for any business and Brenda Bence’s Smarter Branding Without Breaking the Bank is well worth the read. She not only offers low cost and no cost ideas, but ideas I’m sure would never have occurred to me.

    Chapter 10, “Does Your Brand Have Personality? Core Positioning Element #6—Brand Character,” is my favorite. Brand Characterization encourages you to use your imagination and see the brand as a person. Pepsi and Coke are used as an example and it’s a method that worked for me
