  1. I am a daughter and niece of allot of southern women. I cook quite a bit of it myself. I have never had or do I use any canned soups in any of the recipes that have been passed down by my female relatives from many generations. I don’t know if the recipes are regional to the author or what. That is why I gave it 2 stars. Many of the recipes called for cream of some kind of soup – just doesn’t ring true from my heritage.

  2. The recipes look interesting and easy. I only wish there were pictures to accompany the recipes as that has become “the new thing”. The nutritional info that is listed is wonderful for people who track their food or just want to be aware. Very happy with this book!
