  1. Actual rating: 2.5 stars.

Some time back I was contacted by the author (we do not otherwise know one another), who asked me for technical advice on a part of the narrative involving F-15 fighters. He sent me a short section to read and comment on. I was happy to do it, and after I sent him my suggestions he said he’d send a copy of the book when it was published. And so he did. 2. I would definitely categorize this story as an adventure. I was thoroughly entertained by the journey that Maddi is required to go on. I say “required” because she’s actually the last person alive who can stop the evil the world faces. 3. I highly recommend this to readers that enjoy a hearty novel with an excellent plot based around the germ invasion genre and the computer technology genre for that this a great mix of both. Even though this book is 425 pages which may scare off some readers, the thrilling plot and interesting characters makes the story go fast and will leave you holding on for dear life. Really great piece by an up and coming author.
