  1. A nice novella type ‘middle book’ which I’m assuming is bridging the gap between the first novel and the finale. Enjoyed the concept, it developed relationships and cemented characters in what feels could be an epic showdown in the third installment. A solid 3.5 stars.

Similar typo/misspelling situation to the first book, unfortunately, but still a great story with fantastic characters. Examples of the (admittedly distracting and irksome) misspelling are “lead” instead of “led” and “site” instead of “sight.” These are pretty simple things that any decent proofer would catch. It makes me wonder whether anyone read these books over or if they were just sent off to print without any oversight. It’s also frustrating because the story itself is SO good. It kills me

The beginning really threw me off at first and I just about teared up until I realized it was all a game. I liked how the book did a good job kinda refreshing my memory on some spots. I really love the characters, and the new ones Nyx and Lux are interesting, it kind of gives the Punks another enemy, you never know what is going to happen, and what is going on with Headset?!
